Computerized Study Labs

Our goal is to work towards closing the academic achievement gap, based on scores resulting from the California Achievement Test (CAT 6), California Content Standards, and daily performance. We provide a variety of opportunities for every student to pursue academic excellence and to become active participants and leaders in the future.
We have implemented classroom literacy programs, math enrichment programs, social studies units, science kits that allow exploration in all science strands, and physical education, music and art programs supported by specialists. Teachers schedule appropriate field trips to enhance learning outside of regular classrooms. We also provide before and after school math and literacy intervention programs, as well as teacher directed homework assistance and tutorials. By offering a curriculum that serves the needs of different learning styles and interests to students, Roosevelt allows children to succeed.
