Our vision for Roosevelt School is to create an environment where collaboration is valued and all people are respected for their gifts. We all strive to create a non-threatening community for learners making education fun, motivating, and successful for all of our students. We want to develop a shared understanding of the qualities involved in building a safe learning environment. Valued qualities such as respect, courtesy, and self-control are the standards to which we all want to attain. Students and staff are anxious to return to class each day to take part in a variety of learning opportunities. At Roosevelt, all students are expected to work to their fullest potential, expand their horizons, and exhibit academic growth. Teachers, adhering to the State Standards and District Guidelines in their instruction, will move them toward closing the achievement gap and improving standardized test scores for all students as we connect with our students and families and together build upon their academic success.
